Anna gained a diploma in nutritional therapy from the College of Natural Nutrition in 2003; she has since completed a BSc in Nutritional Medicine at Thames Valley University. As well as working with individuals, she runs community nutrition workshops and cookery sessions for both children and adults.
Before moving to Devon to start a family, Anna worked as a writer and researcher at The Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health. She worked on a number of projects looking at the use complementary medicine in primary and palliative care, as well as post-graduate opportunities for complementary practitioners. She is author of A Healthy Partnership: Integrating complementary healthcare into primary care.
Since writing about different models of integrated healthcare she is also keen to practice in this area. Currently, she is working with a multi-disciplinary team to develop a new approach to obesity in families.
Anna is a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT).
